No risk No rewards: A cautious farmer story

There was a farmer and a passing stranger

“How’s your wheat coming along?” – asked the stranger

“Didn’t plant any” – said the farmer

“i thought this was a good wheat country” – the stranger

“ i didn’t plant because i was afraid it wouldn’t rain” – the farmer replied

“How’s your corn coming along?” – asked the stranger

Once again the farmer said “ – i didn’t plant any”

i was this was a good corn country” – stranger

“ i didn’t plant any because i was afraid of corn disease” – farmer

“ what did you plant then? “ – the curious stranger asked

“ Nothing” said the farmer “

i just played it safe” – the farmer

Moral:

If you live a life of fear, you will remain the same and will not grow forward and receive the rewards of effort.
